Thunderstorms :]

Oh man how I love thunderstorms :]
I really love the rain too....its just so cool. I mostly love the sound the rain makes when it hits the roof, and when your in the car when its raining i still love to watch the rain drops race each other down the window. :] My brother and I bet on which rain drop will win.

Expect for my puppy loves to whine and howl when its raining, it drives me crazy, but i still love her. Just like I love thunderstorms.

Clinique Foundation Review

So as the majority of teenagers these days I too struggle with acne, so in June I was in  Chicago, with my good friend from Oregon, and we went to Sephora. I haven't been able to find any foundation that looked good on me or that was okay for my skin., till we went to Sephora. I asked a skin specialist to help find my right skin shade and we chose an ivory color in Clinigue's Acne Solutions.

I am overall happy with this product it goes on really easy and smooth. First I put it on, then I put over it a mineral powder. But whats really great about this product is that when it looks like its just covering-up blemishes, scars and/or redness, it's also killing acne! The active ingredient in it is 2% salicylic acid, which is also  in most face washes.

You can purchase this on www.clinique.com or at a Sephora and it is around $25 and comes in 8 different shades. If you struggling with acne and cant find a good foundation I suggest this, its a great acne killer and foundation and i love it!

NYX Glitter Eyeliner Review

I recently went to Ulta and bought some NYX glitter eyeliner and wanted to do a review.
I got it for around four dollars and it came in this cute little package, with a little black pom-pom that you cant see very well. (sorry)  So it says its Candy Glitter Liner and I got it in sliver, and it has like a tiny applicator brush inside of it that you can use if you wish. It comes in i think  18 different colors some are
-Hot Pink
-Gold
-Blue
-Green
-Baby Pink
-Jade
-Lime
and Yellow
I know you can purchase them on: www.cherryculture.com

My opinon:
It is really easy to use and looks great over a black fish tail or cat tail or its easy to smear all over the lid to look glamorous.
My only concern was though if you out it all over your lids you have to keep your eyes closed for about a minute or two because if you close your eyes right away when there wet it gets all smudgy and its ruined.
So good luck if you buy your own! :]

Patterned Tights

I am really loving patterned tights, although i haven't got a pair myself. I saw a picture of them in Seventeen magazine, and thought "I need to get myself a pair!"

Really colorful ones would go great with a LBD (little black dress) or a pencil skirt in a dark color.
Patterned tights are really great if you get tired of black tights/leggings which I am. Fresh Junk as some pretty wild ones.
Patterned tights were real hot off the runway in Fall 09.
Solange Knowles likes to sport pink printed, purple/blue and black with a wicked twist.
I recently saw a pair that were all black with neon paint splatters, which would be a great DYI thing to do.

Girly Girls

When i say Girly Girls, most people think of a stereotype, girly girls love pink.
Incorrect, I am a girly girl because  I am into fashion and makeup. Pink is great color, but too much of  it makes me nauseated.
What I am getting to is that I love fashion and even though I am stuck in the sticks, I can still get my opinion and ideas out though my blog.

Tepees and Tree houses

Tree House

One day  my brother and I decided we needed a secret hideout, a place to call our own. A place no one would  expect to find us.

So first we made a tree house out of an old deer stand on our land we found. The ladder was already there so we didnt have to add much.
We tied some string from a tree and a post on the fort and put an old lunch cooler on it so we could pull big stuff up and down. We also stapled Birch tree bark on the outside so it would blend in more. We don't hang out there much any more since we made a TP.

We noticed one day after a big storm there was a lot of broken down trees and branches. We asked our Grandpa for some big wood supports and put those in a triangle formation and decided to pick up all the branches and fallen trees and work on putting them on the TP, we watch for more branches and trees to use to finish it. We like to use dead branches/trees so we don't have to harm the earth.
Don't worry plenty more adventures to come......

Tepee

Starting off

I was once told it would be a great idea to start a blog.
With me expecting no one is ever going to read this, but I,ll do it any way.

I live in rural Wiscowsin, out in the woods. Sticks and trees everywhere, frogs and crickets chirping. Coyotes howling late at night, Dragonflys and butterflys fluttering about minding there own business. Weeds so tall they attract horse flies and deer flies. Can you picture it?
Not likely that a girly girl, loves it out here.

I do love it out here, although some people do and some people don't I learned to adapt to my surroundings.  I live on a small ranch house with my mother and younger brother. We have three dogs and two kittens. And a beatiful small jelly bean shaped pond, where frogs, daragonflys, fish and turtles live.
And with living in the sticks something about every day is an adventure......
